Title: Group Digital Marketing Manager
The objective of the Role: This role will involve working as part of the Group sales and marketing team. Support hotels sales and marketing teams in their marketing activities, both online (Digital / Ezine and social) and supporting their offline campaigns for 6 locations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities: • Input and execute a social content marketing plan to align with offline marketing plans, this plan should support the group marketing calendar. • Coordinate all marketing output across Hotel Social and digital channels for all channels (To include advertising on-screen, radio and other inhouse advertising across the plaza group). • Assist to prepare an online marketing plan that will increase website traffic, create social engagement and collaborate all online channels. • Increase the social media output via Instagram, Facebook, twitter and other channels with a view to opening more direct booking / in house spend / Wedding / Gym membership / F&B / Events channels with our customers. • Managing the social media networks for the hotel group and hotel pages where needed. • Take ownership of the Social Media Strategy and content schedule ensuring these fits in with the overall marketing strategy Facebook / Instagram / TikTok / LinkedIn / E-zine / Display / Remarketing / Google My business / Review Pro • Attendance in client meetings / Avvvio / In1solutions / For-email / Other and managing budgets to ensure healthy ROI • Website content management to ensure all content is up to date across the website – Monthly Audit to be prepared and Avvio points to be reviewed and assist hotels in the progression of these points. • Liaise with Sales and marketing / Business development managers and improve hotel website in line with a clearly defined strategy. • Manage all databases in compliance with GDPR and research consumer personas to ensure effective targeting of all campaigns. • Assist in group sales meeting and discuss how market segmentation and digital supports can support sales strategies • Provide ongoing training for Sales and Marketing / Business development teams on all digital platforms used by our properties. • Liaise with graphic designer and to proof all collateral. • Liaise with public relations ensuring all promotional sales activity, press opportunities, competitions and contra deals are supporting overall hotel objectives. • Align internal print collateral with digital plan and request Sales & Marketing keep print updated and current. • Database management of e-mail addresses filtered by market segments and set up an effective communication and ezine strategy. (Wifi / Table Path / Guest Joy etc) • Assistance in wider marketing campaigns such as consumer trade shows, corporate sales blitzes, attendance at in- house events and sales events, wedding showcases, photoshoots, PR events/activities, photo calls etc • Preparation and presentation of strategy to Group and general managers at group meetings. • To carry out any other reasonable requests Page 2 of 2 General • To reflect and enhance the Company’s mission statement and objectives in all activities. • Have a thorough knowledge of Company Policy and Procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook and your department Standard Operating Procedures. • Be aware of both environmental concerns and energy conservation throughout your workplace. • Ensure that all requests and correspondence from colleagues and management are dealt with in a timely and accurate manner. • To communicate any relevant information to colleagues and other departments / properties as required. • To attend and have input at meetings as required by Management.
Requirements • 3rd level qualification in Digital Marketing or equivalent experience. • Demonstrate creativity and enjoyment in social media and marketing • Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills. • Proficient user of Google Analytics and the ability to translate data into usable insights. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Proficient use of Microsoft Excel. • Proficient use and previous management of the following with be a bonus - o Facebook Ad Manager and Creator Studio. o Review Pro. o Google My Business, Tripadviosr. o ForeSight o WordPress / CMS This job description is not intended to be exhaustive or restrictive and may be amended as the business requires.
