Role Description

We are seeking applications from marketing professionals with a proven track record in marketing and business development that can provide a strategic lead in the further growth of our services, reach and customer pipeline. As HOM you will role-model our people-centred leadership with the tenacity and commitment required to inspire your own team and your Executive Team colleagues. You will be responsible for the planning, development and execution of the group’s marketing, advertising and PR. You will play a vital role in the group’s growth and revenue generation and will have important responsibilities that range from creative influence, to strategy.

Reporting directly to the CEO and a member of the Group Executive Team, the HOM’s primary responsibilities are to build the group and hospital brands, promote hallmark specialties and consultants, and to launch new services through a multi-platform marketing, PR and media strategy; targeting patients, referrers and other stakeholders.

Candidate Background and Experience


You will have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years marketing experience of increasing responsibility as well as 3-5 years in a leadership role.

You will be commercially-minded and a strong consumer advocate.

You will be an excellent communicator, with high drive and a proven ability to lead of team and manage a roster of agencies, as well as internal and external stakeholders.

You will have strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team

You will possess outstanding communications and interpersonal skills and also be a passionate consumer advocate

You will have through knowledge of marketing principles, brand, product and service management

You will have a deep understanding of changing market dynamics

You will be determined and focused with proven project management skills


Role Responsibilities



Leading the development of an Annual Marketing and PR Strategy and ensuring its delivery through effective governance.

Providing strategic leadership to the group, delivering the group strategy and objectives through a Marketing prism.

Co-ordination of day-to-day marketing campaigns and plans against allocated KPIs.

Providing reports to the CEO and the Board on the efficiency and effectiveness of the marketing communications strategy, budget and activation plans.

Working proactively and collaboratively with the management teams and colleagues within the hospitals to support the delivery of operational objectives through marketing activation.

Budget management and oversight.

Managing and optimising a roster of agencies inc. media, PR, print, advertising etc.

Conducting market research, mining for consumer insights and informing the strategy.

Supporting group initiatives inc. conferences, awards, collaborations etc.

Support the group’s culture and values through leadership by example.

Actively promoting equality, diversity and inclusiveness in delivery and employment.

Contributing to the group’s talent management program – identifying, supporting and nurturing talent at all levels.
