Demonstrating excellent hospitality, welcomes and assists patients, visitors, vendors and staff while covering patient experience related duties from Main Information Desk, and Waiting Areas. Serves as greeter and first point of contact for general information. Actively supports the check-in and patient flow process. Directs patients to kiosks for self-registration and assists with self-registration at check-in. Fills out and advises patients on how to complete forms. Directs patients to appropriate locations; coordinates patient flow; and collects co-pay. Directs or escorts patients and visitors to clinic appointments and other patient care areas using various tools. Monitors and communicates wait times and delays to manage service recipient expectations. Confirms/verifies patient information. Ensures required patient forms are current; performs end of day processing for no shows.

Performs front office operations, such as registering all patients in a timely manner who have not been pre-registered who will receive services. Maintains current knowledge of all insurance cards and billing necessities to obtain accurate demographic, financial, and clinical information and signatures from patients (or Medical Power of Attorney) as determined by Medicare, State and Federal guidelines. Manages various work ques in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

Demonstrates standards of excellence in care in all interactions, for both internal and external customers. Rounds with patients to be sure they have completed necessary paperwork (either on kiosk, tablet, my chart).

Performs office administrative duties in an accurate, professional and organized manner, keeping work area clean and organized.

Requires judgment in selection of alternative courses of action. Demonstrates critical thought process and can work independently. Performs analyses and makes recommendations regarding utilization of resources. Coordinates work with others.

Other duties as assigned including but not limited to -rotating locations with other CFOS within the practice (changes assignments weekly) and keeping lobby and other areas patients walk through clean, neat

organized, professional and presentable as this is a first impression for patients.
