Spark School of Music is expanding and we need a guitar and piano teacher as cool as our students.

Our motto here is "Have fun while being the best" - does that fit you? Sure, we have a laid back atmosphere (some would call it "high class hipster") but we also expect all of our teachers to be rockstar instructors. All in the hopes that we can help create little rockstars.

More than being a teacher though, you're going to be a mentor. We want our teachers to be someone the kids look up to. Sure, we are teaching music lessons every week, but it's more than that. Sometimes it's about checking in on the students weekly lives. How's school going or how's soccer going? Then we dive into learning music together and build a relationship with the kids.

We lean more towards the contemporary side of music - everything from Taylor Swift to Metallica.

Let's talk about how cool our recitals are for a minute. We're talking fog machines, amazing lights, huge screens, and a camera crew. Our mission is to give kids the rock star experience that I have always dreamed of as a kid.

Candidates with a college or university degree in music or currently enrolled in a music program are preferred. Availability for teaching Mon-Fri 2-9PM is pretty important as most of our students are coming to lessons after school. For more information please see

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays. Compensation is $24.00 - $26.00/hour.
