ur client has a role for a customer service focused, outgoing, full time trade counter assistant to serve and provide advice to domestic and trade customers at a very busy hardware store with over 45 years in the business.
A basic background in fitting, mechanics, plumbing or engineering would suit this role.
Responsibilities;
- You will be the first point of contact for customers at the trade counter where you will be required to offer a friendly and professional service to meet the needs of the customer
- Sale of off the shelf products or taking orders for products that may be need to be ordered in
- Stock control duties
- Use of the in-house stock system / training will be provided
- Keeping the area clean and tidy to meet health safety standards
- Handling cash, card and account transactions
Hours are 8am - 6pm (5/6 days)
Sat 9am - 5pm
No Sundays or Bank Holidays
Business closes all over Christmas
Salary will depend on experience
