Your Role:

The Indianapolis manufacturing facility is a contract manufacturing site that specializes in manufacturing lipid nanoparticle, liposome, and pegylation formulations and is a recent addition to the Life Science Services site network. As Director of Commercial Project Management, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive project management framework that enables your team of project managers to execute client projects on time and budget, meet quarterly and yearly financial goals and improve customer experience and satisfaction.

You focus on increasing consistency and utilization of project management best practices adapting our global Project Management processes, systems and standards to the unique needs of the Indianapolis site. You work closely with the site leadership team to improve E2E processes from quoting, planning & resource management through project execution and ensure connectivity to other sites that are part of delivering the full mRNA value chain. You help measure and steer the site's performance by introducing a clear set of project related KPIs and drive cross-functional improvements that impact performance, customer satisfaction and service levels of the site.

Also, you will promote clear communication with internal and external stakeholders in support of project timelines , deliverables and prioritization needs and act as escalation point for your team and our clients.

Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant Scientific or Business discipline.
• 5+ years of experience managing managers of complex business, commercial, or operations projects in Life Science or Pharmaceutical industry.
• 5+ years of experience compiling customer facing plans and communications.
• Solid understanding of quality and regulatory landscape for drug product manufacturing
• Excellent fundamental project management and process improvement skills: planning, organizing, attention to detail, managing competing priorities, analytical and systems thinking, establishing and using of metrics to drive action and improvements
• Ability to prioritize high visibility projects and drive teams to collaborative solutions in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively to senior management of clients to guide them through difficult situations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Scientific discipline or Business.
• Preference will be given to candidates with an existing project management certificate (PMI or equivalent).

• Action oriented, self-motivated, and highly-organized with a high-level drive for results and perseverance while acting in a professional and positive manner with minimal direction.
• People oriented, who excels at mentoring and coaching direct reports and stakeholders and effectively manages change for own team and larger organizations.
• Clear communicator with strong ability to influence, lead, and manage a team of diverse stakeholders, including executives and messaging for external stakeholders
