Kraemer Trucking and Excavating is a trucking and excavating business that has been in the Cold Spring area for over 80 years. We are looking for two Full Time Equipment/Truck Mechanic's to join our team. The qualified individual will be self-motivated and also work well in a group environment with great communication skills.

Essential Job Functions:

-Assess trucks, trailers and/or equipment to accurately diagnose and repair issues

-Knowledge of diesel engine components and operational mechanisms

-Maintain and clean equipment and tools to ensure they are always kept in a safe and usable condition.

-Inspecting vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering and exhausts

-Repairing or replacing vehicle transmissions, brakes, engines, and other associated parts

-Wiling and able to pivot to doing different tasks throughout the day

-Completing oil changes, wheel balancing, alignment, and brake checks

-Possess good communication skills, ability to work individually or in a team and have strong work ethics.

-Sound problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Qualifications:

-3 to5 Years truck/heavy equipment mechanic which is ideal, but we are willing to train the right applicant

-Valid drivers license (CDL A preferred)

-Have or ability to obtain DOT Certification

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
