STAFFING COORDINATOR

The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of staffing and scheduling for nursing services within the SNF and supports those functions administratively. This position reports to the Director of Nursing.

Other duties:

• Compiles weekly staffing sheets, maintain the list of employees requesting position and shift changes, fill staffing vacancies, contact agency to fill vacancies. Manage daily staffing concerns.
• Computes daily PPD for nursing department.
• Assists Employee Health, Nursing Education, and Human Resources in contacting employees to arrange for annual physicals and in-services.
• Performs clerical support, to include typing and distributing materials to the nursing units.
• Assists in completion of time and attendance logs.
• Updates and maintains work schedule.
• Maintain databases and other computerized files and records

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Licenses/Certification: N/A

Experience: Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience of clerical training (Microsoft Office skills - Word, Excel - are a plus)
