Job Summary:

Academic Hospitalist Opportunity on the Texas Gulf Coast in Corpus Christi, Texas.
  • Seeking a new grad or an experienced Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency trained physician
  • Collegial working relationships
  • Excellent specialists support
  • No out-patient responsibilities
  • Hospitalists do not respond to codes
  • A round and go option
  • Bay Area Regional Medical Center ICU is closed
  • At Doctor’s Regional Medical Center the hospitalists have ICU duties/responsibilities, but there is a PULM/CC fellow on-site
  • An established hospitalist group of 20 physicians
  • Teaching component
  • Internal medicine and dermatology residency programs and a cardiology and a pulmonology medicine fellowship programs

  • Level III Trauma Center
  • NICU- Level I, II and III
  • 19-bed labor unit
  • 12-bed antepartum
  • 39 postpartum beds
  • 3 CS suites
  • 5-bed OBED
  • Neonatologists attend every C-section
  • MFMs on-site
  • 24/7 anesthesiology
  • Five (5) da Vinci robots
  • 24/7 OB hospitalist program
  • Transport team 24/7 (air and ground)
  • CCMC GME includes an internal medicine and dermatology residency program as well as cardiology and pulmonary fellowships
  • All residency programs at CCMC are accredited by the ACGME
