Job description

The Housekeeping Aide performs special cleaning projects as well as daily cleaning duties in accordance with standard procedures.

The ideal candidate will have basic cleaning skills, good customer service skills.


Essential Functions
  • Completely clean facility, showers, sleeping mats, diaper changing tables, connexes, offices, and grounds
  • Clean and disinfect the contractor-provided equipment and used storage or operational spaces to include (but not limited to) showers, hand wash stations, sinks, toilets, grounds, and more
  • Clean and disinfect trash containers (including diaper trash cans) and remove daily
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms
  • Ability to talk, hear, twist, turn, bend, lift, kneel, climb and stand
  • Lifting of up to 50 lbs may occur


Education and Experience
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a housekeeping role is desired
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
  • Must maintain any professional certifications
  • Must possess a valid state driver’s license
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, motor vehicle record check and a criminal background check
