General Purpose:
The Dispatch Admin works closely with Front Desk and Housekeeping as well as other department team members, to ensure Owner/Guests complete satisfaction as pertains to services requested and rendered while adhering to company and industry guidelines and standards of practices.
Essential Duties:
- Oversees all dispatch functions.
- Reviews work orders from departments or complaints from customers and records type and scope of service to be performed.
- Responsible for scheduling, coordinating, dispatching drivers, housekeepers and outside vendors and following up on all calls to ensure completion.
- Responsible for communicating with front desk and other parties as needed.
- Answer all incoming calls in a friendly and efficient manner.
Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic Required Skills:
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
- Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
- Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- May be required: to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands:
- Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by environmental systems.
- Must be able to stand and sit for long periods of time as needed.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
- Must be able to exert a well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
- Must be able to lift items weighing up to 25 lbs. as needed.
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuity.
- Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors, and other employees.
- Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.
- Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
