Job Description:

The Houseman is responsible for assisting guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally while ensuring the overall upkeep of the facilities during their shift.

Responsibilities:

• Help guests with luggage assistance to their rooms.

• Assist with light maintenance related tasks/requests as needed.

• Keep hotel grounds clean, neat and tidy.

• Set up and clean the meeting/event spaces as needed.

• Help with light housekeeping tasks.

• Complete any other tasks as directed by supervisor/manager.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Previous Customer Service experience preferred.

• Previous housekeeping/maintenance experience preferred.

• Highly energetic, go-getter, motivated individual.

• Willing to take initiative and work with little supervision.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong customer/client focus essential.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Ability to shift and manage multiple priorities.

• Results driven focus and ability to work through to completion in a timely manner.

• Adaptable to change.

• It is also preferred that the Houseman have significant knowledge of the surrounding area, restaurants, and attractions to better inform our guests when needed.

• The ideal individual for this position would be someone who is hardworking, dedicated, and outgoing.

• Open availability preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to $12.00 per hour

All guests and employees are encouraged but not required to wear a mask and all the facility regularly cleans, sanitizes and disinfects common and high traffic areas.
