We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Reporting Analyst to join our HR function at Hastings Direct.
In this team you will deliver accurate and insightful information to the business, providing Colleagues and Leaders with access to the data they need to do their jobs and make informed decisions.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Excel with excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. You will be self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills and a proven record of setting delivery commitments and meeting expectations.
A STEM degree, knowledge or Power BI and experience is advantageous but if you have strong baseline skills and a keen desire to learn, the supportive HR Information Systems team will invest in your development.
We’re flexible on location, this can be based fully remote at home or in any of our offices in Bexhill, Leicester or London - Cannon Street.
About the role:
As a HR Reporting Analyst, you will support operational and compliance reporting across our entire organisation, including all HR reporting queries as well as our other people systems. We balance our day-to-day priorities with project work which will require liaising with users, leaders, and key stakeholders to ensure quality, consistency and efficiency in our reporting.
With a focus on development and insight, you will develop and maintain systems and process documentation to help produce management information to assist the business in increasing efficiency and productivity.
We also own and support the Core HR people system, Workday, which allows Colleagues and Leaders to record personal information about themselves and their team, with confidence that their data is correct and safe.
Your remit will include:
- Developing reports in our Workday system to analyse data, perform trend analysis and identify data discrepancies.
- Producing model data sets in creative ways to answer business questions.
- Partnering with internal stakeholders on operational reporting needs on a regular and ad hoc basis.
- Support with adopting our HRIS system (Workday)
- Support on custom Workday report requests
- Assist in data exploration and cleaning to help understand available data and produce actionable insights
- Partner with internal teams to identify areas for improvement for data quality, process efficiencies and effectiveness
- Work with internal teams to automate or streamline data entry/collection processes to ensure the highest data integrity
- Integrate data from multiple systems to support reporting and analytics on all areas of HR to help the business better manage their workforce resources
- Becoming an active part of the Workday Community.
- Proactively hunt out the next opportunities to improve Colleague reporting.
