Job description
The HR Coordinator will work alongside the HR Manufacturing team to provide HR and administrative support that includes, but is not limited to, onboarding, staffing, payroll, employee engagement, training, benefits, and off boarding administration. This position will also work with employees and managers to help create a productive, safe, and healthy work environment.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service by serving as the first point of contact for employees by assisting and answering questions as needed
- Manage first line employment inquiries
- Support with all onboarding and offboarding transactions within Workday
- Enter job requisitions into Workday
- Assist in facilitation of New Hire Orientation
- Coordinate, administer and monitor HR internal communications via the company display boards to include general information, events, announcements etc.
- Utilize Learning Management System (LMS) to review, track and document compliance with required trainings
- Support the HR team with special projects as required
- Perform general office duties and other duties as assigned as needed
Skills and Experience:
- High School Diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in an administrative or customer facing role working in a fast-paced environment; manufacturing or human resources experience a plus
- Customer service oriented
- Capable of learning and navigating through a Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
- Ability to handle highly confidential information discreetly and professionally
- Proficient in Office 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
- Meticulous attention to detail
