HR Coordinator/ Staffing Coordinator

Our 50 + bed post-acute care center located in Mercer county is seeking an HR Coordinator/ Staffing Coordinator to join our dedicated team. This position will be filled by a candidate with previous experience in staffing and long-term care.

Responsibilities of the HR Coordinator/ Staffing Coordinator:

Assist with preparing nursing department work schedules for each calendar month.

Assist with finding call-in replacements in order to meet corporate, state, and federal staffing guidelines.

Answer phones, assist visitors and residents, and relay communications.

Carry out additional administrative support as needed, including but not limited to:

o Recruiting and Retaining Staff
o Maintaining a budget and ppd

Requirements of the HR Coordinator/ Staffing Coordinator:

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent related work experience. Bachelor's preferred.
  • Must have a current/active CPR certification.
  • Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Demonstrated intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Internet and Intranet navigation.
  • Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives.
  • Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • At least one (1) year as an HR in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred
  • Knowledge of Level 2 background screenings
  • Experience of bi-weekly payroll
