About
I have an immediate need for an in-home college Java Programming tutor in nothern Baltimore in Pikesville. The student is attending the Cydeo School. She wants to work with a tutor her Java coding program.
The student is looking for additional support to complete her JAVA coding program that she is enrolled in. She said that she just wants a little extra support to ensure she understands all the material and possible help with assignments. She wants to learn to be more self-sufficient with her coding skills. She said on occasion she gets stuck and can't figure out where the error is occurring.
The students goals are to become more self-sufficient and build a strong base around JAVA coding for her future job prospects.
The student wants 1 hour sessions once a week. She is is available Monday through Thursday and Saturday through Sunday from 7am-10pm. Fridays she is available 7am-10am & 12pm-10pm. She said she can be felxible and the only time she is not available is Fridays from 10am-12pm.
Student said that she will also start learning Java Selenium, so a tutor who is experienced in that would be preferred so that they can help with that as well.
COURSE DESCRIPTION: Java Developer -Our program starts with the Java programming language. Our technical training will focus on the following core areas: Java Programming language Spring Framework (MVC, ORM, REST, Database) Microservices Unit and integration testing Application deployment to live Data Structures and Algorithms Design Patterns Interview Preparation Students will work in teams on projects that resemble the agile process environment and build confidence to tackle the interviews. Two mid-size projects will decorate your resume during the marketing process.
Job Requirements
- Tutor must be willing to work at the student's home in northern Baltimore in the Pikesville neighborhood across the way from Bonnie View Park.
- Tutor would prefer a tutor who knows Java Selenium as she will be starting to learn that next in the program.
- Minimal travel required to meet with student (you decide the distance you are willing to travel, typically 5-10 miles)
Student Availability
MON-THUR, SAT-SUN 7am-10pm
FRI 7am-10am, 12pm-10pm
