Position Summary and Purpose:

We have just promoted our latest custodian and are seeking an individual, with attention to detail and a good work ethic, to start a career with us and grow with the company. If you are looking to get your foot in the door and advance, we have a spot for you!

The goal is to keep our office, and shop, in a clean and orderly condition for all our employees. We take pride in the cleanliness of our facility, and you would be an asset to our organization’s image and culture.

• Sweeping/Mopping
• Exchanging and monitoring coolant tank systems
• Trash Removal
• Bathroom Cleaning
• Operating Floor Scrubber
• General Shop Duties

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be detail oriented
• Must be able to lift heavy equipment
• Ability to work on your feet for up to 10 hours
• High school education or G.E.D.

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

A normal shift consists of 8 - 10 hours per day, Monday thru Friday, with some Saturdays. Overtime is required.

Pay: $18/hour. Overtime after 40 hours.

Moeller Precision Tool is centrally located within the Metro Detroit area with a 45-minute drive from Ann Arbor or Troy, Michigan.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Physical demands: employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use of hands to finger, handle or feel objects. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
