We are hiring a full-time young Infant Teacher for our NE Portland center location.

We are looking for someone who has a strong work ethic, initiative to guide children with love, safety, kindness, and a sense of wonder. Your familiarity with RIE and Waldorf methods is a plus. And you must be willing to adapt to an anti-bias curriculum and treat children with the utmost respect - as you would any hero.

REQUIRMENTS & QUALFICATIONS

• 1-year experience in a licensed program with children 6 weeks - 5 years-old is required.
• Must be current in Oregon's Central Background Registry.
• Within your first 30 days of employment, you must have: Food Handler's Card, CPR/First Aid for Infants and Adults
• Completion of a Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect course.
• Completion of an Introduction to Child Care Health and Safety course
• Monday-Friday shift options
