JOB SUMMARY
The primary duties of the Inside Charter Sales employee are to manage client trip requests, prepare and distribute quotes and sales contracts. Sales of Jet Charters, Helicopter Charters and Jet Cards while maintaining a strong customer focused attitude. Working hand in hand with clients to prepare trips to suit their needs and foster relationships with clients to command repeat business. This position's ideal candidates will have a passion for customer service, a professional attitude, possess strong written & verbal communication skills and remarkable attention to detail. Creative thinkers who work well in teams will thrive here. Multi-tasking and the ability to handle a fast-paced and constantly changing work environment is a must. Previous Sales experience is preferred. | Job Description :
  • Use quoting and scheduling software to execute sales and customer service. Quickly respond to calls and emails with clients, vendors, and colleagues
  • Arrange jet & helicopter charter trips including catering, car services, and other ancillary services
  • Develop an expert understanding of the aircraft within GrandView's Fleet as well as aircraft within the charter market, i.e. performance parameters, capacity etc.
  • Work with operations staff and crew members to schedule aircraft and report flight progress & notes to clients
  • Track client preferences in the company's scheduling system and report to brokers on these preferences
  • Ensure aircraft are properly stocked and presented to company standards prior to departure
  • Ensure client needs are met and exceeded and details of trip are correct on every trip
  • Work to ensure medical trips are completed safely and timely
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with charter brokers, operators and direct clients.
  • Other duties as assigned

Work Hours

Must be willing to work a rotating schedule of daytime hours, evening, and nighttime (Overnight) hours. Will rotate overnight hours with other sales staff. Schedule may vary depending on company needs but candidates must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Position Requirements
  • Strong Customer Service experience required - Able to communicate with customers and colleagues sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
  • Strong organizational skills - detail oriented with the ability to multitask, prioritize and be proactive.
  • Highly motivated - work in the fast paced 24/7 environment of business aviation.
  • Flexible, strong ability to deal with change
  • Strong computer & communication skills and the ability to quickly learn & adapt to new software
  • Ability to work under pressure individually and in a team environment with minimal supervision.
  • High School Diploma or GED Required. Bachelor's Degrees preferred.
  • Occasional travel for trade shows and industry events may be required; must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
  • Experience working in the jet & helicopter charter industry OR handling VVIP or high net worth individuals (also those with high-end concierge, travel, luxury or financial sales experience should apply).

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
