Job description
The Sales Development Representative at Graphic Business Solutions (GBS) will assist our web-to-print manufacturing company to expand its customer base. This role includes outbound calling, creating and following up on CRM leads, presenting value propositions, and connecting customers with the Account Management Team. The ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills and must thrive in the customer service setting. The Sales Development Representative should demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and have strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Essential Responsibilities and Characteristics of this Position:
· Initiates contact with potential customers by responding to inquiries generated from internal marketing campaigns, cold-calling qualified leads and other sales initiatives
· Identifies and discovers decision-makers that match our sales objectives and updates the CRM accordingly for future correspondence
· Determines client needs through a Q&A process and qualifies their interests in our product offering and custom solutions
· Works with various internal departments in the transfer of qualified leads, fielding all necessary information and serving as the sales broker to ensure a smooth follow-up process
· Works in tandem with the Sales Director, setting up follow-up calls and meetings where applicable
· Demonstrates a willingness to take on new tasks with a general attitude that no job is too small, impossible, or cannot be improved
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business, or a related field
- Successful completion of coursework in sales techniques, marketing, and communication is a plus
- Superior verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Strong active-listening skills are essential
- Solid telephone etiquette and computer literacy skills
- Familiarity with HubSpot, SalesForce, or related CRM solutions is ideal
- Willingness to travel five to six times per year for tradeshows and other customer-related events
