Inside Sales Specialist - GE Legacy

A key role in assisting the sales team, the Sales Support Specialist prepares Drives Service sales proposals for Service within Motion Business in Louisville, Kentucky. In this role, you will be responsible for generating sales and providing commercial support to external and internal service accounts and have the opportunity to drive growth for new, remanufactured, and repaired parts and life cycle extension programs for GE Legacy industrial drives and controls. Your day will be fast paced, working directly with the Territory Account Managers and customers to fit offered services to the unique needs of the customer.

Your responsibilities
- Meet or exceed orders and sales vs. operating plan by channel, region and product line monthly
- Create Quotations and Proposals for new, remanufactured and repair parts
- Coordinate with territory sales manager to migrate GE legacy customers to ABB next generation drive systems solutions when appropriate
- Organize product training and sales sessions
- Coordinate and implement price and discount changes on new, remanufactured and repair parts
- Collect and consolidate point of sales reports by channel, region, and product line on a monthly basis
- Create and coordinate with marketing communications to develop newsletters, promotional materials and product brochures
- Coordinate Mutual Action Planning, Target Account Planning and Commitment letters
Your background
- Bachelor’s degree or with minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial distribution OR associate degree plus 9 years' related experience, OR high school diploma/GED plus 11 years' related experience
- Prior experience with GE (Glycol ether) legacy AC (Alternating Current) and DC (Direct Current) drive systems is strongly preferred
- Experience in the management of recurring revenue offerings
- Ability to perform under pressure, assign priorities and solve problems quickly
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
