Position Title: Instructional Technology Coach
Department: Technology Services
Reports to: Director of Instructional Technology
Salary Schedule: State based plus local supplement
Work Schedule: 190 Days/8 hours per day
FLSA: Exempt
Primary Function:
- Provides strategies, training, coaching, and support for integrating technologies and technology standards for instructional delivery models and curricular resources for K-12 education.

- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard
- Hearing and speaking to exchange information

Qualifications:
- Must hold or be eligible for a Georgia Level 5 certification or higher (Instructional Technology, preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in teaching and utilizing K-12 educational applications, digital platforms, and technologies
- Knowledge and expertise with Information Technology, equipment and applications, including digital learning management systems
Knowledge & Duties:
- Provides strategies, training, coaching, and support for integrating technologies and technology standards for instructional delivery models and curricular resources for K-12 education
- Supports and informs the delivery of instruction to create a rigorous, relevant, and engaging instructional program through targeted support and implementation of innovative technological solutions focused on high levels of student achievement
- Models learning skills, methodologies, and digital classroom tools in support of the Georgia Performance Standards and the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standard
- Assists in the implementation of district and local school technology initiatives through evaluation, recommendation and selection, testing, training, modeling, coaching and support
- Collaborates on the school and district levels to implement a comprehensive technology plan, analyzes data, and recommends next steps to improve student outcomes
- Develops, coordinates, and/or delivers professional development utilizing district approved applications and tools to support school and district needs
- Assists administrators and faculty in utilizing student technology abilities data to improve instruction and increase proficiency
- Provides digital application user support for curricular applications, including the learning management system, for the district
- Maintains an active awareness of emerging trends and participates in professional development and research related to instructional technology
- Performs other duties as assigned by Superintendent or designee
