The Corporate Affairs area has overall responsibility for brand strategy, market research and insights, marketing and digital marketing (websites and social media strategy), and working across teams to align corporate affairs, public relations and crisis management, project communications, stakeholder communications, sponsorships, media relations and internal communications.

The Internal Communications sub-area in Corporate Affairs will be responsible for internal communications across all areas in Irish Water. This includes development and ownership of internal communications strategy to support the Irish Water business objectives, in particular key change projects as the utility develops.

Reporting to the Internal Communications Manager, the Internal Communications Specialist will support the Internal Communications Team in delivering proactive and coordinated internal communications through a range of digital and traditional channels. As a specialist in Internal Communications, you will develop and deliver internal communications strategies and plans for projects and campaigns and manage our Content Hub; producing, writing, editing, publishing and curating written and audio visual content for our intranet and ezines and print communication channels. Most importantly you will use your creativity and strategic thinking to identify and drive outputs and outcomes that support our business and employee engagement objectives. You will have a high degree of technical proficiency, a deep understanding of digital, excellent writing skills, and experience in internal communications strategy, planning and advice.
