Raymond West is looking for a motivated Inventory Specialist to join our winning team! The Inventory Specialist compiles records concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment by performing the following duties.When you decide to join the Raymond Team, it is not just a job, it's a career choice!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Compile all reports for the Parts Department Manager to include inventory accuracy, fill rates, number of turns, etc. Analyze and reconcile negative inventory items, as well as ZZ or no location items. Audit material receipts, stock transfers, stock adjustments and inter-branch transfers for accuracy.
Compare nomenclature, stock numbers, authorized substitutes, and other listed information with catalogs, manuals, C-D’s, parts lists and Raymond’s JDE system references to verify accuracy of requisitions and shipping orders.
Compile stock control records and information such as consumption rate, characteristics of items in storage and current market conditions to determine stock supply and need for replenishment. Process all stock transfers originating from Santa Fe Springs stock. Removal of dead stock. Check restock for minimum and maximum settings.
Compile data from sources such as contracts, purchases orders, invoices, requisitions, computer system and accounting department. Reports and enters information into computer system to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping or other records. Inputs internal requisitions for consumables. Inputs additions, deletions and changes to existing consignment inventories. Audits pick lists for accuracy. Audits vans and consignments for accuracy.
Ensures stock levels for service vans do not exceed $3,000.00 unless specified by the Parts Manager.
Reviews reports compiled to determine unused items and recommends for disposal of excess stock. Adjusts minimum and maximum levels as market trends change. Sets stock levels to ensure three turns per year.
Responsible for all aspects of S-82 (ship/bill discrepancies) and GRD core program for Santa Fe Springs and Ontario locations.
Completes physical inventories in house and off site twice per year. Assist branch parts supervisors with the scheduling and processing of van and special inventories to ensure 2 vans are inventoried each week. Install a cycle count system to ensure accuracy on each inventory.
Responsible for all consignment inventories at customer locations.
Work closely with IS department to compile reports to maintain property inventory levels.
Performs random checks on price increases to ensure computer system in charging correctly.
Work with and supports the Parts Team with respect to adjusting the inventory of non moving parts.
Various duties directly or indirectly associated with parts sales activity or as assigned.

Pay Range:
$19.00 - 26.00
