PDQ Staffing is looking to employ and experienced Inventory Control coordinator. Please ensure you read the job description below to ensure you are able to effectively manage the task listed. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of Inventory Control coordinating experience. You must be proficient in data entry and Microsoft Excel. Please read the description below Prior to inquiring further.

The primary responsibility will be to increase and maintain company profitability by maintaining accurate inventory levels; the IC Clerk will ensure that optimal inventory is present and ready for use. Other responsibilities include:

Collecting and inspecting for accuracy receivables with associated documents. All Purchase Orders, Packing Slips must be aligned, and any back orders identified and follow through on receiving back orders.

Identifies products that no longer need to be in inventory and eliminate.

Coordinates annual and any mid-year inventory counts.

Identifies and optimizes common inventory items.

Works with other teams including engineering, sales, shipping, and production.

Ensures that inventory cycle counts are completed regularly and in a timely manner. Forwards any inventory replenishment orders to Purchasing Agent.

Audits the facility’s entire inventory on a regular basis and provides reports to Director of Operations. • Trains other employees in cycle counting and inventory control.

Files claims with manufacturers or sellers when defective goods are found or received in the inventory.

Process RMA preparing for shipping ensuring goods are returned and credit or replacement is made. Maintains Return and RMA area.

Instructs others on how and where to return defective goods.

*
Orders shop and manufacturing consumables such as rags and toilet paper.

Follows all existing company policies and procedures
