To be successful in this role, you will ensure the development, compliance and certification of food safety programs and work with Corporate Quality in the execution of company programs. HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING


  • Inventory Control - To practice and manage inventory control policies and procedures that contribute to the fiscally responsible use of finished goods and materials to ensure accurate and consistent inventory processes to support optimal customer order fill. Execute other duties as assigned.
  • Quality Control - Ensure's the accuracy of inventory movements as well as product traceability in the event of a product recall. Manages quality hold inventory, coordinating with Quality Supervisor and offsite storage operations.
  • Driving Results – Damage reduction, DURP (Damaged upon receipt), reduction, and inventory variances through investigations and performing required cycle counts & physical inventory (daily, weekly, monthly, SOX).
  • Detail-Oriented – Verifying the accuracy of all outgoing/incoming bills of lading. Drive the FIFO process. Ensures adherence to all standard work processes.
  • Audit Ready - Accurate and thorough record-keeping is a must. Maintains an understanding of processes and functional interdependencies at multiple warehouses. Recognizes and escalates, as needed, those issues identified as risks to, or opportunities to improve, plant performance.


YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS


  • High school diploma/GED required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites Preferred Qualifications
  • Effective communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities
