Job description

• Shangri-La Cannabis Inventory Specialist is responsible for tracking and updating cannabis inventory in real time and coordinating inbound and outbound shipments.
• Responsible for cannabis inventory and excise stamps maintenance and reconciliation daily.
• Responsible for issuing cannabis to production daily.
• Work alongside scheduling to ensure inventory balances match scheduled production
• Review and investigate inventory variances
• Ensure cannabis inventory is appropriately labeled and documented and all cannabis inventory movements are tracked with real time inventory management software (Dutchie)
• Verify & confirm invoice value against incoming and outgoing cannabis shipments.
• Update inventory management software (Dutchie) for all incoming and outgoing cannabis shipments.
• Prepare outbound shipment of cannabis products by making necessary verifications against appropriate documentation.
• Oversee various inventory management functions which includes processing damages, holds, rework, and End of Life
• Identify and execute on projects to improve inventory control procedures
• Maintain internal record-keeping systems
• Other duties or special projects as assigned by Director of Operations.
• Ensure that all daily cannabis activities by packaging have been accurately and correctly entered in the inventory management software (Dutchie).
• Play an active role in preparation of any audits
• Authorize return of merchandise
• Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
• Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
• Develop, manage, and maintain cycle count process ensuring requirements are met per Dutchie and METRC Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for cannabis and non-cannabis inventory
• Coordinate, manage and oversee the execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory counts of cannabis and non-cannabis inventory
• Investigate and correct inventory discrepancies, identifying root cause and collaborating with Operations to drive corrective action (CAPA)

Pay: From $17.50 per hour
