This is what you will do:

The IT Manager Digital Technologies Experience Lead will act as the IT Lead for the support and development of digital technologies within Alexion Operations. In this role, you will partner with the IT Leads/IT Business Partners (BPs) to advance the Digital Technologies for all sites in Alexion Operations.

You will have previously owned the deployment of Digital Technologies focused on improving the Digital Experience across multiple Business Functions. You will appreciate the fine points of managing a diverse IT portfolio of systems. Equally critical to success is the ability to establish links across the Manufacturing/QC/QA & Supply Chain functions seeking ways to streamline their business processes using Technology while pursuing the corporate needs for standardisation, security, innovation and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will possess detailed understanding and knowledge of the Digital Engagement & Visualisation Technologies across a Manufacturing/Operations Site.

Preference will be given to candidates with the following background:

• Minimum of 5 years in a Customer facing Digital Experience function
• Worked as process owner for Digital Visual Management Software & technologies that enabled process improvement and/ or transformation programs.
• Involved in digital change projects or initiatives which looked to digitise, rationalise and enhance the Business Customer Experience.
• In this position, you will use your proven Digital & Visual Technology experience to work as the link between Global IT Technology teams and Business adoption Teams while maintaining a high value proposition for business partners.

You will be responsible for:

Business Partnership and Development

• Work with BPs to define requirements, analyse and propose initiatives, from requirement gathering to design, build, test and deployment
• Acquire knowledge of Digital Technologies emerging functionality & solutions, and contribute to their successful implementation within the business, where appropriate
• Conduct requirement gathering workshops with IT BPs & Operations personnel to agree process design.
• Drive/Support new & existing Digital Technology adoption
• Deliver Digital End User improvements in accordance with Alexion IT Standards & Procedures.
• Initiate, coordinate, and enforce systems, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment

Leadership

• Drive and support Digital & Visual Technology adoption engaging with Site Leadership to drive Business Value
• Ensure appropriate IT multi-functional involvement in project teams to build ownership for solutions.
• Support the business to increase utilisation of Digital & Visual Technologies.
• Participate in key global IT projects & liaise with IT Leadership on same.
• Educate end-users on Digital & Visual applications to increase use and efficiency
• Coordinate with the various resources to ensure a timely implementation. Deliver progress reports to the business unit and IT management teams.
• Develop supporting materials to drive the identification, communication and implementation to support an enhanced Employee End User Experience

You will need to have:

• BA/BS in computer science, IS, MIS or a related field.
• Demonstrate a keen interest working with multiple Digital/Visualization applications & integrations.
• Strong capabilities in S95 level 2 and level 3 systems and their integration.
• Strong exposure to MS technologies, including Teams & Zoom conference technologies.
• Strong multi-functional knowledge especially in Manufacturing/QC environments enabling Shop Floor process Visualisation
• Data extraction and visualisation of key metrics within an Operations Environment.
• Excellent management and social skills.
• 3+ years relevant technical experience supporting medium to large client environments.

We would prefer for you to have:

• 5 years’ experience in industry, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing/operations environment.
