Position Details:
Position Type: Full Time
Job Location: Hemlock, MI
Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM M-F
Pay Rate: $25/Hour
Benefits: Eligible for complete benefits package after 60 days

Overview/Summary:
IT Technician Scope: Required to work with vendors, end users, project teams and takes direction from Site IT Lead to create IT solutions that may be complex. Evaluates new technologies and works with IT architects and service providers to create standards, solutions, and fixes in the infrastructure space. Understands key components of IT network, server, PC, and other devices and can integrate systems to create business solutions. Provides end user support for installation of manufacturing applications. Capable of manufacturing system integration, including design, build and implementation of manufacturing IT infrastructure. This job may include knowledge of or experience with web services, database administration, midrange, personal computing, telecommunications, and mobility

General Duties:

• Support of manufacturing business systems with multiple production lines and buildings
• Support of security and business infrastructure for facility.
• Bridge gap between client in house knowledge and remote support teams.
• Requires strong communications and troubleshooting capabilities

End User Device support:

• End user support and customer service experience
• Experience with Windows 7, Windows 10 deployment and troubleshooting
• Printers, Scanners, Label Printers
• Office 2016, Office 365, SharePoint
• Manage requests and incidents in a service desk tool

Server Administration:

• Operating System Windows Server 2008 – 2016
• Administering sharing and folder privileges
• Racking and Commissioning servers
• Backup and Storage
• Service monitoring and optimization
• End user access administration

Network administration:

• Familiar with wired and wireless network architecture, configure Cisco switches, troubleshoot LAN, maintain switch cabling.

Firewall:

• Familiar with firewall static routes and user administration.
• Understand and oversee firewall rules, collaborate with firewall support team
• Experience working in DMZ and Process Control Networks

Applications:

• Experience with Server and desktop integrated applications

Requirements:

• 2 years' experience
• Education: Associates or better degree preferred; relevant certifications also preferred.
