Job description
Key Role:
Developing and maintaining Web sites using Web development tools, including Java, Spring, Spring Web Services, JAXB and Hibernate. Responsibility include translating functional requirements into delivered solutions using best practices including but not limited to RUP, Use Cases and Design Patterns. This position is located in Washington, DC.
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience with IT
- 4+ years of experience with Java
- 4+ years of experience with Object Oriented Programming Techniques-Ability to obtain a security clearance required
- 2+ years of experience with Spring/Spring Web Services
- 3+ years of experience with Hibernate
- BA or BS degree in Computer Science or related majors
Additional Qualifications
- Experience with JAXB, Web Services and XML
- Ability to make presentation to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
