Role Overview
We are looking for a Junior Business Analyst to support us in ensuring our programmes are delivering effective, efficient and innovative talent development solutions to participating businesses. The position will report to the Performance and Evaluation Manager.
The person will work closely with the Performance and Evaluation Manager to develop and implement an ambitious Monitoring and Evaluation Strategy, and will be responsible for ensuring quality, completeness and timeliness of performance data. The successful candidate will also have opportunities to engage in diverse data analysis and research initiatives.
We are seeking a data driven, motivated and enthusiastic individual who wants to progress their career in business analytics, performance measurement and research.
Key responsibilities
- Support performance assessment and grant-making processes through ongoing monitoring of financial and non-financial performance indicators.
- Collate, clean and visualise data for monthly, quarterly and annual performance reports for internal and external audiences.
- Support the delivery of various evaluation studies and case studies.
- Address performance related data queries
- Maintain relevant performance trackers and related documentation.
The Individual will have the following:
- A third level qualification or equivalent professional qualification.
- Strong general administrative experience in a client facing environment.
- Experience in data analysis, data visualisation, monitoring and evaluation.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Very strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
- An ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Desirable Qualifications
- Knowledge of data/business analysis software (PowerBi, Tableau) is desirable.
Excellent salary on offer which ranges from €35,000 - €45,000 depending on experience.
