Burnalong is looking for a Junior Customer Success Manager to manage our Small and Medium- sized business clients.

This role will combine tactical account management with a focus on pioneering high-volume strategies and messaging for our SMB clients. You’ll take what we know works across our more hands-on customer base and work with CS, marketing, and product to help build a best-in class low-touch model.

Ultimately your job is about developing the SMB playbook while handling day-to-day account needs across the SMB business line. You’ll also serve internally as the voice of the customer. Your success will be measured on product adoption and engagement as well as the expansion and retention of your portfolio. An ideal candidate has likely held a high-volume customer success or support role and may be looking to transition into more strategic account management over time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive high software engagement across your customers through automated account strategies that you help develop and execute
  • Help build the playbook for our new account management strategy for SMB clients
  • Onboard, implement, engage, and manage a portfolio of clients
  • Own retention and upsell for your accounts
  • Effectively solve ad-hoc customer issues as needed
  • Help shape future product development by being the voice of our customer
  • Be creative in helping our Burnalong community stay healthy and happy
  • Represent Burnalong well – you are the public face of the company for our accounts

Key Requirements:

  • Friendly, optimistic, and a good communicator with fantastic relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to manage a large volume of client relationships 2+ years of prior account management and/or customer success experience, preferably within SaaS or health and wellness and dealing with HR organizations
  • Technology-minded and able to build new processes in the CRM/email tools
  • Very organized and strong multi-tasker, who can easily manage multiple projects on tight deadlines while maintaining a high volume of activity
  • Equally compassionate to customers as colleagues
  • Scrappy, comfortable with a start-up environment and able to roll-up sleeves and get things done
