REporting to the General Manager, C&B manager the main responsibilities
As junior Duty manager you will be responible for the following:
- To ensure that all guest needs and requirements are met in all departments, with particular reference to food & beverage service requirements for wedding functions and events.
- To follow rigidly and adhere to function sheets ensuring that all requirements or wedding /event organisers are fulfilled.
- To be proactive when dealing with guests, pre-empting guest requirements whilst always striving to exceed guest expectations.
- To Assist wedding co-ordinators, meeting with bridal couples/event organisers, facilitate show around, and assist them with their preparation needs, and offer advice to them, in the lead up to, and on the day of the event
- To ensure that wedding operations run smoothly on the day, providing a contact for the bridal couple throughout the wedding /event function.
Requiremnets of Junior Duty Manager;
- To ensure adequate staffing on a daily basis throughout the venue
- To assist in departments where necessary with particular focus on front desk, wedding co-ordination and wedding & events operations
- To deal with any problems that arise in a proferssional manner and notify senior managers of same
- To communicate effctively with staff & guests - delegating tasks to guests as required
- To use initiative & be hands on in the daily operations of the hotel
- Fluent English & permission to work in Ireland required

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: €26,000.00-€28,000.00 per year

Education:
- Advanced/Higher Certificate (preferred)
Experience:
- relevant hospitality Management: 1 year (required)
