An opportunity for a recently graduated Quantity Surveyor, with a keen interest to develop their career within the world of heavy civils.

Initially, playing a key role in the successful completion of a €Multi-Million Roads / Highways project based in Co Cork, where you will be working alongside some of Irelands most respected civil engineers, with a Top 40 Tier one Irish Main Contractor.

Having recently graduated with a Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or similar degree related qualification, you will be part of a team, who will put full guidance and relevant training in place to make sure you are always developing your career path to succeed.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Assisting with estimates and compiling tender packages to present to Clients.
  • Liaising with Clients ensuring their specific requirements have been met and ongoing projects are progressing as planned.
  • Working with the Project team to prepare and present accurate valuation forecasts.
  • Working with the Project team to provide accurate Monthly Valuations and Applications
  • Verify Payments against Applications and summarise Debtors position.
  • Accurately price, negotiate and agree Contractual Variations with the Client
  • Work with the Project Team to highlight and mitigate risks to Health and Safety, Quality, Customer Satisfaction and Profitability of Construction Sites.
  • Procurement and Payment of Sub-Contractors / Suppliers.
  • Complete Monthly Performance Summary reports.

A real opportunity for an ambitious quantity surveyor, to base himself or herself, full time in Cork.

The Benefits:

Salary will be in the region of €40,000 – €45,000, + package, which will be fully negotiable depending on experience.
