Our client are currently working on a site with 40 units in Wicklow and have a number of other similar sized sites in the outer north and west Dublin areas which will be developed in the near term.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Contracts Manager the successful candidate willbe responsible for the overall management of the site including:
- Managing and tracking on site workers and subcontractors
- Ensuring all works on site are delivered to the highest possible quality and standard and within budget
- Examining the shop drawings, assessing the material requirements, approving and submitting the material requisitions accurately
- Conducting quality checks on works carried out to ensure the products meet all client specifications. Co-ordinate with the various third party agencies during spot checks on the site and ensure adherence to all Quality, Health & Safety regulations on the assigned site
- Solve complex problems and challenges relating to the Project Schedule and Budget as an effective member of the project team.
- Co-ordinate with the specialist contractors and the Build management on all issues pertaining to the drawings ,plans, schedules and any problems arising for quick resolution of all issues.
- Monitoring progress against the Project Programme and keep the Contracts Manager updated on the progress taking quick corrective action where necessary
The ideal candidate will have
- A relevant Construction Management qualification.
- Minimum of 2- 3 years’ experience in a construction environment (ideally residential) and demonstrated knowledge of the residential construction processes (ideally timber framed)
- The ability to manage, motivate and communicate with people at all levels and be able to work as a part of multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organisational skills; attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Strong written & IT skills
