The Boeing Company is seeking an Integrated Support Planning & Management (ISPM) Sustainment Manager to join the BGS KC-46 Sustainment organization. Individual will have responsibility to lead teams assigned to the KC-46 Tanker Programs.
The BGS KC-46 Engineering Sustainment management team leads a dynamic organization in performing support services to our KC-46 Customers. Our support is extended globally while centrally based out of the Puget Sound area, WA.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership in the areas of Integrated Support Planning and Management, schedule development and execution, departmental processes/policies and setting operational goals.
- USAF, Japan, and future International Customers
- Proposal development for aircraft or material support
- Process leaning & development. Automation of metrics, part lists, and BOM for tracking and delivery
- Maintenance Training System Integration and CDRL Management
- Mod & Retrofit Integration including suppliers
- Site Activation for USAF and international customers
- Utilize operational skills to develop and lead team to meet performance, cost, schedule and quality commitments.
- Perform Cost Account Manager (CAM)-duties by managing cost accounts via earned value metrics and performance measures. Lead horizontal integration across engineering functions in support of the KC-46 program
- Establish budgets & schedules
- Build relationships and partnerships with customers, peers, suppliers, direct reports and other stakeholders
- Manage staffing forecast in adaptive planning. Perform hiring activities to maintain staffing levels.
- Develop and mentor team members to help them achieve their career goals.
- Occasional travel is required
Security Clearance:
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics)
- 3+ years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams
- 3+ years of experience building strong business partner relationships
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
- 3+ years of experience leading or managing Military projects and/or teams
- Experience with Earned Value Management
- Experience with data analytics, database architecture, coding familiarity & systems level thinking
- Experience mentoring, teaching and/or career development
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).

Hybrid/Telecommute:
This Hybrid position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. (Everett, WA. Tukwila, WA.) This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Summary pay range: 138,550 – 187,450
