SENTINEL CANINE ACADEMY IN BARRINGTON, NH IS HIRING!!

We are now accepting applications for for immediate openings in our dog daycare and boarding programs for a kennel assistant. Various shifts available.

If you love working with dogs, have experience working with dogs, are a team player, are self-motivated and reliable with a strong work ethic, this might just be the perfect position for you!!

-The kennel assistant position is a physically demanding position, frequently requiring standing, walking and lifting (up to 50lbs) The position will require you to be in good physical condition and will subject you to varying weather conditions.

-love to clean? Who doesn’t? This position will also require you to clean and maintain the kennels, animals, grounds, and workspace regularly.

-Early Riser? Even better, this position can require an early start to the day at times.

• Job duties will include but are not limited to: supervising, feeding, and light cleaning of the dogs, greeting clients during drop-off and pick-up, maintaining in-house training/boarding/daycare schedules, and communicating with clients about their dogs activities.

Applicants must be willing to work flexible schedule that include a combination of mornings, afternoons, and evenings during both week days and weekends. Must be willing to work both indoors and outdoors in varying climate conditions. Must have excellent communication skills. Must be focused and disciplined. Experience in dog handling, kennel work, or grooming is preferred but not required.
