Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) located in scenic Upstate NY is a multi-campus College with locations in Troy and Malta New York. HVCC offers more than 80 degree and certificate programs in three schools: Business and Liberal Arts; Health Sciences; and Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). Hudson Valley is one of 30 community colleges in the State University of New York (SUNY) system and serves nearly 9,000 students each year. The college is a recognized leader in career and transfer preparation, workforce training initiatives, distance learning and service to a diverse population of students. Positions are with the Summer Athletic Camps in the following areas: Advanced Golf, Adventure, All Sports, Basketball, Dodgeball, Golf, Lacrosse (Girls), Soccer, Softball, Tennis, Volleyball. A vacant position may not currently exist in each area.

Summer Camps begin: July 2, 2023

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Graduate. Two years of participation in appropriate sport; prior experience working in a supervisory capacity with children, preferable in a camp setting.

Duties and/or Responsibilities:
 The Assistant Coach has the responsibility for supervising the day to day activities of children in the camp
 Assists in developing program content
 Responsible for the appropriate use of college equipment and facilities
 Works with other assistant coaches to provide a harmonious program
 Promotes good sportsmanship
 Performs other duties as assigned

Compensation: $250 per week (5 half days)/$500 per week (5 full days)
