The Kitchen Restaurant at Arnotts is a modern Italian restaurant. Combining modern Italian cuisine with quality selected ingredients, it has been receiving many compliments form Arnotts customers. The Kitchen Restaurant which is part of the Baxterstorey Ireland group has an excellent opportunity for a Chef de Partie to join Head Chef Gabriel Hoefling Ossani and his team in the kitchen with the opportunity of progression throughout the group.
This role is a daytime role only with no evening work.

KNOW THE ROLE

The Kitchen Restaurant in our Arnotts department store are currently recruiting for a chef de partie to join their team on a full-time permanent.

KNOW WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Responsibilities include

• Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes.
• Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes
• Ensure that each member of your team is fully aware of their responsibilities and comply with health, hygiene, and safety regulations
• Help prepare all orders for the fresh and dry store items required on a daily basis
• Ensure proper rotation of stock
• Deputise in the absence of the Sous chef
• Monitoring portion and waste control
• Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards

Requirements include

• Must have valid working visa
• Must be able to work weekends
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Have good communication skills
• Have excellent organisational skills
• Minimum of 2 years in a similar role
• Must speak fluent English and work to a high standard
