Purpose of the role
Proagrica is looking for a Lead Integrations Consultant with a solid background in data workflow implementation and configuration to join its expanding Proagrica EU Delivery Group. This represents an exciting opportunity to join Proagrica and contribute towards the implementation of a range of supply chain and system integration projects.
The successful candidate will remotely manage an integration team, who connect customer’s internal systems and infrastructure throughout the supply chain across the Agricultural Enterprise domain.
The day-to-day work will be alongside EU Integrations Manager, PMO Manager, Solution Architects, Project Managers, Integration Consultants and Support Analyst with some interaction with external stakeholders.
The Lead Integrations Consultant will report to the Integrations Manager.
Key Accountabilities
The Lead Integrations Consultant will have the following key accountabilities/responsibilities:
  • Accountable for the performance, and results of the Enterprise Integrations team.
  • Responsible for resource planning & scheduling (in conjunction with Integrations Manager and Proagrica PMO team), managing team sprints/tasks etc.
  • To coach and manage the Enterprise Integrations team, assisting them in their training and development to a high standard for integration.
  • Develop and implement scalable, high performing integrations.
  • Developing and testing data mappings, typically using XSLT.
  • Configure and test data workflows implemented using the Interlok integration toolkit.
  • Configure and test data transformations implemented using the Cirrus platform.
  • To work with the DevOps team to ensure that configuration is successfully deployed and according to best practice.
  • To work with project managers and the Integrations Manager to ensure that projects are delivered efficiently, effectively and that progress is accurately reported.
  • To assist Business Analysts with requirements, where needed.
  • Contribute to analysis on pre-sales requests and third-line support issues.
  • Troubleshoot and solve problems.

  • You have proven ability to technically lead successful integration development projects on time and within budget
  • You have broad industry & companywide technical knowledge of integration platforms/technology
  • Knowledge of large complex systems
  • Strong skills in setting, communicating, implementing, and achieving business objectives and goals through the direct management of others
  • Strong organization/project planning, time management, and change management skills across multiple functional groups and departments, and strong delegation skills involving prioritizing and reprioritizing projects and managing projects of various size and complexity
  • Advanced communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills applicable to a wide audience including senior and executive management, customers, etc., including diction/terminology and presenting information in a concise and effective manner to clients, management, and various departments using assorted communication mediums.
  • Software development process expert in applicable methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Proven knowledge and experience in project planning and management tools to manage project progress, budget, and scope.
  • Proven ability to lead a diverse team across multiple geographies and set the standard for all to achieve
  • Proven experience of project or service delivery to external or internal customers.

Essential Technical Skills
  • Expert knowledge of XML/JSON/HTML
  • Expert knowledge of XSLT
  • Expert knowledge of Web API Services (REST/SOAP)
  • Practitioner knowledge of database technology (SQL, MySQL, Maria DB)
  • Practitioner knowledge of different electronic message formats (e.g., EDIFACT, EDI X12)
  • Practitioner knowledge of Unix/Linux
  • Practitioner Knowledge of messaging (JMS, ActiveMQ, SonicMQ)
  • Practitioner Knowledge of security concepts and protocols (e.g., authentication, authorization, signing, encryption, SSL/TLS, SSH/SFTP).
Desirable Technical skills
  • Working knowledge of scripting languages (Javascript)
  • Working knowledge of programming languages (Java/Python)
  • Working knowledge of build and deployment tools (Ant, Maven and Gradle)
  • Working knowledge of DevOps/cloud technologies (Jenkins, Puppet, AWS and Docker)
  • Working knowledge of the ELK stack (ElasticSearch, Logstash and Kibana)
Experience
  • You will be educated to degree level in an IT related discipline
  • Proven experience in a successful IT lead role
  • Relevant experience in B2B systems integrations
