Summary
CHS is seeking a Lead Intelligence Analyst to join the Enterprise Risk & Resilience team. This role will identify, analyze and deliver key insights on current events, global megatrends, emerging risks and potential disruptions based on the company’s overall strategy and objectives. The Lead Intelligence Analyst will work collaboratively with businesses and functions across CHS focusing on key priorities, challenges and opportunities. The person in this role will also participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
60% - Global Risk Analysis
- Perform strategic, operational and tactical research tailored to our businesses, geographic footprint and industries
- Utilize scenario planning and problem-solving methodologies to evaluate global megatrends and critical issues (e.g., macroeconomic, geopolitical, regulatory, social, etc.)
- Develop clear and impactful intelligence briefs on significant risks and opportunities
- Identify associated leading and lagging indicators and create a process to inform stakeholders of meaningful changes
40% - Resilience
- Identify and assess critical locations, processes, and disruption risks
- Lead the design and governance of resilience initiatives (i.e., understanding operational dependencies and aligning to continuity plans)
- Research and analyze data to identify trends, uncover potential issues and develop recommendations
- Communicate and clearly articulate complex information to stakeholders, supported by both quantitative and qualitative data
- Develop internal training materials
- Provide awareness and support to all employees in building a more resilient enterprise
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- High School diploma or GED
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex business problems in a rapidly changing environment
Additional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, marketing or related field
- Project management, research and/or investigation experience
- Experience creating professional presentations and materials for a variety of audiences
- Experience working in Agriculture, Food & Beverage and/or Energy
- High degree of intellectual curiosity
- Strong business acumen

- Advanced critical-thinking, problem-solving
- Very organized
