Experience in professional animal care is required, minimum of one year. This position has the potential for promotion to management.

Family owned doggy boarding, daycare, training, grooming, and vet clinic searching for an individual with the following experience and characteristics.

• Dog handling experience/ able to handle large dogs
• Comfortable being active and on your feet/ ability to be on feet for the entirety of your shift
• Ability to multitask and problem solve
• Must be able to work outside in all conditions
• Energetic and engaging with dogs, coworkers and clients
• Reliable transportation
• Availability on busy holidays and peak times including but not limited to Christmas day, New Year's Day, Fourth of July, Spring break

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Walking dogs (general dog handling) Monitoring playgroups

• Feeding dogs
• Medicating dogs
• Poop Scooping
• Kennel cleaning
• General facility maintenance
• Client interactions
• Record keeping
• Bathe dogs/ nail trims
• General cleaning (sweeping/moping etc...)
• Work as part of a team but also must be able to work independently
