Cairn Homes plc has a unique opportunity for a high calibre OD Manager to join our growing team, in a fast-paced dynamic working environment.

Key Responsibilites

Typically, the candidate will be expected to undertake and assist with the following duties:

· Identify strategic learning needs, skill gaps and development opportunities across our business and design & deliver new programmes that will have impact and are aligned to best practice development theory.

· Partner with the People Team and Functional Leads to carry out functional training needs analysis for teams based on delivery priorities, functional objectives, and business strategy.

· Support core operational functions by designing, develop and delivering role specific training frameworks and tailored learning pathways.

· Deliver training, workshops, and development support for staff at all levels, with a specific focus on management & leadership development & coaching.

· Drive a learning culture across the business by supporting teams to coordinate role-specific learning interventions and promote the sharing of any activity and learnings on our central comms platform

· Act as a role model within the people and engagement space, demonstrating knowledge of learning theory and program design in support of company engagement drivers and talent strategy

· Manage the training budget, contract agreements and payment approvals for external vendors and partners.

· Manage the Learning & Development Coordinator and support them to coordinate, track and report on group training activity and approve individual further education or training requests

The Candidate:

·Bachelor’s Degree qualification in relevant discipline e.g., Business, Psychology or Human Resource Management.

·Minimum of 5 years of experience in Learning & Development roles

·Excellent communication, facilitation and coaching capability with experience facilitating senior level conversations

·Advanced verbal, written, and presentation skills.

·Experience of designing and implementing an end-to-end training and development strategy.

·Strong attention to detail, time management and proven ability to multitask effectively across multiple strategic priorities.

·Displays a high level of personal resilience and the ability to remain effective in a dynamic working environment

·Enthusiastic and ambitious with a strong work ethic and flexible work attitude

·Team player with ability to contribute both individually and as part of a team

·Experience in construction environment advantageous but not required.
