The College of Sciences, Department of Chemistry at UTSA is currently seeking to fill at least two positions at the level of Lecturer. These are multi-year appointments with an expected appointment date of August 1, 2023.

Salary

$45,000 per 9-month appointment, and commensurate with experience.

Hours per Week

Exempt Position: 40 hours per week.

Essential Functions

• To teach General Chemistry, and/or Organic Chemistry laboratories.
• Other duties as assigned.
  

Required Qualifications

• Masters or higher degree in Chemistry or related field of study.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years' teaching experience in Chemistry at the collegiate level.

• Will work around chemicals and chemical fumes.

The primary work location for this position will be on campus. Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility.
