East Moline Public Library seeks a Children's Services Assistant

Schedule: 39 hours/pay wk; Varies

Salary Range: $13.50 - $17.34/hr

About the Position

We are seeking a passionate and community focused Children's Services Assistant. The ideal candidate will enjoy spending time with children, be able to juggle multiple projects, and assist with the design of engaging patron programming.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree or knowledge, skills, and mental development equivalent to the completion of an Associate's degree. They should also have 1-3 years of experience in a library setting. We want to hear from you if you:

East Moline, Illinois (Resident population ~23,000) The library is a cornerstone of the community with strong public support and an operating budget of $950,000. The collection includes over 60,000 items, with an annual circulation (pre-COVID) of over 100,000. The library moved into a brand new facility in January of 2022.
