Job Summary: Pacifica Senior Living is seeking a motivated and compassionate LPN/Scheduler to join our team. As an LPN/Scheduler, you will play a critical role in coordinating and managing the schedules for our residents and ensuring efficient healthcare services are provided. This position requires a high level of organization, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and staff members.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate healthcare services, including medical appointments, medication administration, and treatments, for residents in accordance with their care plans and physician orders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date schedules for residents and communicate any changes or updates to the appropriate staff members.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained to meet resident needs.
- Liaise with residents, families, and healthcare providers to ensure timely and efficient scheduling of medical appointments and services.
- Assist in the coordination and documentation of resident assessments, care plans, and progress notes.
- Provide support and assistance to residents and their families, addressing their concerns and providing information as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations and company policies.
- Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and continuous education to enhance knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
- Current LPN license in the state of New Mexico.
- Previous experience as an LPN and/or scheduler in a senior living or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with scheduling software and electronic medical records.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Understanding of and commitment to maintaining resident confidentiality.

Pay: From $38.00 per hour
