Opera House C.A.F.E. is a locally owned and operated business located downtown in the River Market/City Market area. Our Store hours of Operation are, Open-7am / Close-8pm
What we need: Line Cook/Short Order Cook who is organized and able to multitask on the line!
Line Cook\Short Order Cook/&Prep. Our Kitchen BOH is Team Oriented, our Cooks work together to manage a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen, whether it is managing dishes, prepping with fresh ingredients, cooking, frying, grilling, and building each meal to order, our cooks ensure our kitchens delivers.

Here’s what you’ll need:
· Fast, efficient and able to produce a quality product in a timely manner
· Precisely reads and executes ticket orders ensuring ticket time standards are met
· Practices good safety habits when using equipment and handling food
· Must properly label, store, and rotate food in all storage locations
· Setup and prep workstations; Food prep during off-peak periods and as needed to ensure timely production of order
· Ability to communicate and maintain positive working relationships with all team members
· Coordinates and leads kitchen team members to ensure timely and efficient food delivery
· Checks food temperatures to ensure food safety standards are met
· Managing dishes (dishwashing) thought out your shift
· Be Neat, Clean, and Organized
· Completes closing & weekly cleaning checklists
· Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment
· Ability to serve our guests needs with a high sense of urgency
· Must be able to stand for several hours, able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels, able to use to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
· MUST have reliable transportation
