Job Title: Sr. Linux Engineer

Duration: Contract

Location: Denver, CO - Hybrid

Qualifications:

• Experience in systems engineering
• Experience with at least one of the following: Ruby, Node.js, JavaScript, C#, Java, Golang, and/or
• Python
• Create Golden Image Linux templates for production and lab use, based upon industry best-practices and business requirements
• Hands-on experience with creating Linux system images and publishing to a repository system such as
• Artifactory, etc.
• Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and optimizing Linux filesystems
• Experience with Linux troubleshooting, hardening, and performance tuning
• Expertly use tools and analytics to provide insight and make recommendations
• Strong experience with LDAP mandatory
• Strong experience with API-driven configuration
• Familiar with Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Understanding of RESTful design principals
• Ability to assess a problem and determine an effective course of action with sustainable solutions
• Experience setting up and working with virtual machine technologies, VMware, OpenStack, etc.
• Experience with CI technologies such as Jenkins, GitLab CI
• Strong documentation skills, able to create and update our processes documentation as needed

Top 3 Requirements:

• 8+ years of in systems engineering and systems administration in Linux (mainly Red Hat) o Manage, troubleshoot, understands commands in Linux operating systems o Expert in Linux
• Strong automation (Perl, Bash, Python)
• Pipelining experience (GitLab, CI/CD/ Ansible, Terraform)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $55.00 per hour
