Your Job Purpose:

As a Liquid Industrial Waste Systems Technician working with the LotusWorks team, you will join our client site in the semiconductor sector. This job is based in a cutting-edge facility in Hillsboro, Oregon.

The Liquid Industrial Waste Systems Technician will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the liquid industrial waste systems in our semiconductor manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of wastewater treatment systems, including chemical treatment processes, pumps, piping, and instrumentation.

Your Job Description:

• Operate, monitor, and maintain liquid industrial waste systems and related equipment.
• Monitor and maintain wastewater treatment processes, including chemical treatment processes, pumps, piping, and instrumentation.
• Perform commissioning QA installation and FAT testing activities on newly installed equipment, including pumps, motors, VFDs, tanks/vessels, hydraulics, piping, chemicals offloading systems, instrumentation, and control valves.
• Review in field installations on newly installed equipment with the approved P&ID and 3D model designs.
• Review SOO (Sequence of Operation) documents.
• Create FAT documents based on design and the SOO documents.
• Work directly with the client engineers on the integration of newly installed and commissioned equipment into the live operating facility.
• Troubleshoot equipment and systems to identify and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the wastewater treatment systems.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment systems in an industrial setting
• Knowledge of chemical treatment processes, pumps, piping, and instrumentation
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
