Clinical Therapist Job Description

The clinical therapist will provide outpatient individual and group therapy to clients of Breaking Free Services Center for Wellness, located in Tarpon Springs, FL. Clinical therapy services include the treatment of adults, adolescents, children, couples, and families. We are looking for therapists who possess our core values: flexibility, warmth, love of having fun, lifetime learner/hard worker, loyalty, professional and team-oriented.

We want to add licensed clinicians who specialize in one of the following: 1. Children and Families 2. Couples Counseling. 3. Trauma 4. Experience in Eating Disorders. 5. Substance Use

Please only apply if you have experience/desire to work in the areas listed. We hire full-time (W2) salary (this includes benefits such as health insurance, PTO and paid holidays and bonus eligibility), full or part time W2 fee for service (includes bonus eligibility for full time) or full or part-time 1099 contract position for a therapist whose niche is in one of these areas. Currently hiring for part time 1099 positions only. Interested in working mornings or evenings or on just a Saturday....we have the space and the clients for you!

Minimal Qualification Requirements

• Masters’ degree or higher in counseling or social work
• Active, unrestricted license (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC) in the State of Florida (must be in possession of this license in order to be hired). A copy must be provided to Breaking Free Services.
• Available to hold at least 10 client sessions per week for part-time (1099 position or part time W2 fee for service) and 28 clients for full-time (W2), provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Breaking Free Services.

Other Qualification Preferences

• Prior experience in the private practice setting
• Have at least one niche market for counseling services (i.e., children, teens, trauma, anxiety, grief, anger management, substance use disorder etc.).
• Willingness to learn & grow one’s breadth of practice
• Desire to be active in the community & make connections to build the practice
• Ready to not only LOVE what you do but LOVE where you get to do it at!
• Excited to be a part of our vision and desire to make a difference with a growing group practice.

Job Types: W2 full-time with benefits, pto, and holiday pay; W2 part-time that is fee for service, or full time/part time 1099 position. You get THREE choices

Pay: $50K-$65K based on experience, certifications, etc.

Fee for service W2 position: $40 an hour to $45 an hour

Contract split 60/40 (clinician/practice)
